DAY 3. Your Favourite Books

This is part of the 30 Days Challenge which I started quite a while ago. This time I'm supposed to list here my favourite books, and to be honest I haven't really read any good ones for the past few years. I have never been much of a reader even though I enjoy reading books, when I find something that interests me. Most of the books on this list, which is not in any order, will be coming from my childhood and teenager years. hah.

1. HARRY POTTER by J. K. Rowling
When I was younger I absolutely loved listening to my mom, when she was reading HP out load. I still haven't started reading the 7th book even though we bought it the very day when it was for sale in Finnish. During many summer holidays, I have tried to start reading the book, but for some reason I haven't. Maybe this summer, who knows!

2. EMILY OF NEW MOON by L. M. Montgomery
For one birthday my godfather bought the books of this series for me. During the first years I didn't even touch the books as they didn't seem very interesting. When I finally started reading the books, I found them so interesting even though it took me over a year to read them all. This series tells about a life of a girl in a different kind of a world, the same world that we live in, but with a life style that we consider a history.

3. TWILIGHT SAGA by Stephenie Meyer
Basically I became interested in this series through my friends. They recommend me to read the books, and of course there was a fuss about vampires and all. I felt like this series really suit me well, so I read the books very quickly, and was always waiting for the next one.

4. EVA & ADAM by Gahrton Måns and Unenge Johan
One day, when the summer holiday had just started, I went to the library and borrowed the first book of this series. I fell in love with it immediately, and read the whole series in just two weeks.

5. DIARY OF ANNE FRANK
Every single person should read this book, simply because it teaches you so much.

6. SOS by Enid Blyton
I have know clue how and why I liked this series, probably because it was so interesting back then. (:

7. CONFESSIONS OF GEORGE NICOLSON by Louise Rennison
I simply love this series because reading these books made me laugh so hard. It's a series that I can recommend for any teenager girl.

8. A FARAWAY ISLAND by Annika Thor
This book was rather different from the ones that I usually read, however I liked it a lot. I did also read the sequels, which were as good as the first one.

There are plenty of other good series of books that I have read, but these 8 are the ones that came to my mind first. (:

I would love to hear your favourite books as well!
